笛子是中国古老的乐器，以其圆润亮丽的音色和独特的表现力为人们所喜爱。本文从笛子的音色入手，重点阐述笛子的音色特征；分析研究影响笛子音色的主客观因素；探讨南北派对笛子音色不同的审美标准及新时期笛子音色的审美趋向。力图总结规律，为笛子的演奏和学习提供科学的理论指导。

中国竹笛是1支魔笛，因为它从古至今流动出的乐波，把千千万万庶民百姓的耳朵，规范在具有中华民族特色的社会审美习惯之内。基于笛所拥有的艺术价值，笛已成为历代文学艺术家进行文学艺术创作的重要题材之1。笛作为中华民族精神与物质统1的1项文化财富，已从自身所拥有的不可磨灭的价值升华为1种跨越艺术门类的、光辉灿烂的文化价值。
